Microspace Communications Corporation Modification Application KA395 EXHIBIT 1 Purpose Statement The purpose of this application is to: 1) modify the KA395 authorization to increase the permitted orbital arc to 45º W.L. from the current 65º W.L. Thus, the proposed orbital arc is 45º W.L. - 143º W.L.; and 2) change the emission designator and related information, and remove the information pertaining to emission designator 256KF1D. The applicant will continue to provide the same video and data service it has been providing pursuant to its license.
