                                         Exhibit A

                     Response to Question 43, FCC Form 312

Panamsat Licensee Corp. ("PanAmSat") requests modification of its earth station license,
call sign E7465, to extend the satellite coordination are with respect to use of the
frequencies 5925—6425 MHz and add a new satellite coordination arc for the frequencies
3700—4200 MHz. The new extended arc will cover the range of orbital longitudes from
40° W.L. to 150° W.L. for the 12m antenna (Antenna Id. 1), and 24° W.L. to 150° W.L.
for the 9.1m antenna (Antenna Id. 2).

This earth station license currently authorizes communication as follows:

    e In the 5925—6425 MHz band with all U.S.—licensed and Permitted Space Station
        List satellites with a satellite coordination arc spanning from 60° W.L. to 150°
        W L&«                                                                      .

    & In the 3700—4200 MHz band with all U.S.—licensed and Permitted Space Station
        Llst satellites.

The present modification seeks to: 6L

    e extend the coordination are for Antenna Id. 1 in the frequency band 5925—6425
        MHz from the current 60° W.L. to 150° W.L. listed in item 1 ‘of Section C
        (Frequency Coordination) to 40° W.L. to 150° W.L.;

    e extend the coordination arc for Antenna Id. 2 in the frequenéy band 5925—6425
        MHz from the current 60° W.L. to 150° W.L. listed in item 1 of Sectlon C
        (Frequency Coordination) to 24° W.L. to 150° W.L.;

—_. & add a new coordination arc for Antenna Id. 1 in the frequency band 3700—4200
        MHz as a new item 3 of Section C(Frequency Coordination) from 40° W.L. to
        150° W.L.;

    e add a new coordination are for Afitcnna Id, 2 in the frequency band 3700—4200
        MHz as a new item 3 of Section C (Frequency Coordination) from 24° W.L. to
        150° W.L.;
                                     i

The relevant modification sought per the above is shown in Exhibit B of this application.
The corresponding coordination report is provided asExhibit C for antenna Id. 1 and as
Exhibit D for antenna Id. 2.
The present application does not entail any material change to the "transmit and receive"
parameters of the earth stations licensed under call sign E7465. Accordingly, PanAmSat

does not include a new Schedule B. To the extent necessary, the Schedule B information
previously provided is incorporated by reference, as amended by the coordination
information as shown in Exhibit B of the instant license application.
All other parameters of the current license remain unchanged.
