                                          Exhibit A
Response to Question 43, FCC Form 312.

PanAmSat Licensee Corp. ("PanAmSat") requests modificationof its earth station
license, call sign £E990092, to extend the satellite coordination arc with respect to use of
the frequencies 14000—14500 MHz and 11700—12200 MHz to cover the range of orbital
 longitudes from 40° W.L. to 133° W.L.

This earth station license call sign E990092 currently authorizes communication as
 follows: ®

e In the 14—14.5GHz and 11.7—12.2 GHz bands with all U.S.—licensed and
Permitted—List satellites, with a satellite coordination arc spanning from 43° W.L.
          to 129° W.L.

      e In the 12.75—13.25 GHz, 13.75—14 GHz, 11.450—11.452 GHz and 10.7—11.45 GHz
          bands with the following satellites: PAS—9 @58.0° W.L and HORIZONS 1 @
          129.0° W.L.

The present modification seeksto extend the coordination arc pertaining to the frequency
 bands 14—14.5 GHzand 11.7—12.2 GHz from the current 43° W.L. — 129° W.L. as listed in
 items 3 and 6 of Section C (Frequency Coordination) to 40° W.L. — 133° W.L. The
relevant modification sought is shown in Exhibit B of this application.

The coordination information for the other frequency bands remains unchanged.
The present application does not entail any material change to the "transmit and receive"
parameters of the earth stations licensed under call sign E990092. Accordingly,
PanAmSat does not include a new Schedule B. The Schedule B information previously
provided is incorporated by reference, as amended by the coordination information as
shown in Exhibit B of the instant license application. To the extent necessary, PanAmSat
requests waiver of the Section 25.115(a)(1) requirement to provide Section 25.130
 information on Schedule B.
— All other parameters of the current license remain unchanged.
