SES—MOD—20080616—00795 (Call Sign E080058); SES— MOD—20080616—00797 (Call Sign E£050017) Dear Ms. Dortch: On June 16, 2008, EchoStar Corporation ("EchoStar") filed a series of applications seeking authority to temporarily operate the EchoStar 8 satellite at the 77° W.L. orbital location.‘ The above referenced applications were filed as part of the series requesting authority to modify two of EchoStar‘s transmit/receive earth stations to provide on—station telemetry, tracking and control operations and to uplink programming to the satellite once it reaches 77° W.L. After filing the applications, EchoStar noticed that the applications incorrectly identified certain 12 GHz channels as "transmit" channels. Therefore, EchoStar respectfully seeks to clarify that the following channels described in each of the above referenced applications should be listed as "receive" channels.
