Re: Application of DG Consents Sub, Inc.,
Call Sign EQ40264, File No. SES—MOD—20070806—01046

  Dear Ms. Dortch:

DG Consents Sub, Inc. ("DigitalGlobe"), applicant for authority to modify the license of
its earth station at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska (Call Sign EO40264, File No. SES—MOD—20070806—
01046), hereby submits this letter in response to a request for information from Commission
staff. Specifically, DigitalGlobe reiterates that its application proposes several changes to the
licensed parameters of the subject earth station for the purpose of adding spacecraft DigitalGlobe
is authorized or has requested authority to include in its earth exploration—satellite service
("EESS") non—geostationary satellite orbit system as points of communication. Among the
changes are the proposed additions of the WorldView 60 and WorldView 110 satellites, as
described in DigitalGlobe‘s July 31 application in File No. SAT—MOD—20070730—00107, as
points of communication on the Call Sign E040264 license.

DigitalGlobe also confirms that the earth station will continue to operate as it presently is
authorized with respect to the existing point of communication on the license — the Quickbird—1
EESS satellite. The new satellites use the same uplink frequencies as the existing Quickbird—1
satellite, and the newly—specified emission designators for the WorldView satellites and newly—
specified E.LR.P. density completely encompass the Quickbird—1 emission designators and
E.LR.P. density. For this reason, these parameters were shown as modifications. It would also
be appropriate to retain the existing parameters in the Call Sign EQO40264 license exclusively for
Quickbird—1, and have the parameters shown in the August 6 Modification Application be shown
in the Call Sign E040264 license as additions to accommodate the WorldView spacecraft — the
first of which is scheduled to be launched on September 18, 2007.
