     consisting of a fixed hub and five transportable remote earth stations, which will be
     deployed to operate on a short−term basis in remote areas where disasters have destroyed
     or impared traditional form of wireless telecommunications, at major events/attractions,

43. Description. (Summarize the nature of the application and the services to be provided).

Nextel Communications of the Mid−Atlantic, Inc. has licensed a domestic VSAT network consisting of
a fixed hub and five transportable remote earth stations, which will be deployed to operate on a
short−term basis in remote areas where disasters have destroyed or impared traditional form of
wireless telecommunications, at major events/attractions, and at special events requiring enhanced
security. Nextel now seeks to add two additional hub antennas to their VSAT network. The new hub
antennas will also provide digital operations with the network.
