   Dear Mr. Kotler:

          Iridium Satellite LLC and Iridium Carrier Services LLC (collectively, "Iridium")
   request a three—week extension of time to provide the information requested in your letter
   dated September 26, 2006, regarding the above—referenced applications.

           Iridium and Eagle Broadband, Inc., the manufacturer of the equipment proposed
   in the above—referenced applications, diligently have been working to prepare a detailed
   response to the questions raised in your September 26letter. As a result of an
   unexpected change in Eagle Broadband‘s technical personnel within the last month,
   however, Iridium and Eagle Broadband are unable to provide the requested information

   by October 26. Consequently, a brief extension from October 26 to November 16 would
   allow the parties sufficient time to provide a complete response to your letter of
   September 26.
