The confusion about the emission designators for the presently licensed analog emissions has been cleared up. The presently licensed emission of 24000F9 was entered as 24M0F9W on the application. Likewise, the presently licensed emission of 36000F9 was entered as 36M0F9W. This was done in error, as these emissions are presently licensed analog emissions, and should be changed as shown below: The presently licensed emission 24000F9 should become 24M0F8W, and the presently licensed emission 36000F9 should become 36M0F8W. The intention of the application was to preserve the analog emissions that are presently licensed, which are analog video with sound and ATIS subcarriers, and simply update the emission designators to conform with the newer definitions that are found in Part 2 of the Rules. In addition, the application requests authority to add digital emission and related service. Please let me know if I should file an amendment to the tendered application. If needed, that can be done Friday, April 22, 2005, as I will be in the office and so will the person who signed this application, Dave Converse, a Vice President of WLS Television, Inc. Thank you for your patience through this time when everybody associated with this application was out of the office attending the NAB Engineering Conference and Convention. I know that Ms. Nguyen is anxious to have this application proceed to Public Notice, so if you could let me know what should be done in this case, I would appreciate that very much.
