File No. SES—MOD—20040623—00864 ECC Call Sign E990323 Dear Ms. Dortch: On June 23, 2004, PanAmSat Licensee Corp. ("PanAmSat") submitted an application to modify the authorization for its above—referenced fixed satellite service earth station in order to add DirecTV—3 at 82° W.L. and at 91° W.L. as points of communication. In the application, PanAmSat specified thatit did not seek any technical changes to the frequency and antenna information identified in its current authorization. PanAmSat, by its counsel, hereby wishes to clarify the intent of that application by stating that it is seeking authority to communicate with DirecTV—3 only for telemetry, tracking, and command purposes and not for DBS feeder link or other purposes.
