Dear Mr. Abelson: This is written on behalf of Saga Communications of Michigan, Inc. ("Saga"), licensee of Satellite Earth Station E872070. On June 16, 2003, Saga filed an application for consent to pro fForma assignment of license of E872070 from Saga to Saga Communications of Michigan, LLC. In connection with the processing of that application, the Commission‘s staff has brought to our attention that the Commission was not notified of the consummation of a prior pro forma assignment of license from Great Lakes Radio Network, Inc. ("Great Lakes"), to Saga. This letter rectifies that omission. Attached hereto is a copy of our transmittal letter covering the 1999 application for pro forma assignment of license of E872070 from Great Lakes to Saga. Our letter indicates that consent to the pro forma assignment inadvertently had not been sought until after Great Lakes was already merged into Saga. The Commission approved the pro forma assignment application on December 1, 1999. Should there be any questions regarding this matter, please communicate with undersigned counsel.
