SES—MFS—20121112—01000, SES—MFS—20121112—01001, SES—MFS—20121112—01002, and SES—MFS—20121112—01003 Dear Ms. Dortch: On behalf of Qualcomm Incorporated and its subsidiary Corporacion Nacional de Radiodeterminacion (collectively, "Qualcomm"), and at the request of Commission staff, the undersigned provides the following Section 1.65 Application Update ("Letter"). Qualcomm requests that the Commission update the orbital location for Satmex 5 in the above— referenced applications to 116.8° W.L. The orbital location for Satmex 5 in Qualcomm‘s applications is the proposed new location for the satellite once Satmex 8 is operational. After Satmex 5 is moved into its new orbital location, the ALSAT designation on Qualcomm‘s authorizations will permit it to continue to communication with the satellite. Qualcomm also requests that the Commission update Qualcomm‘s response to Question E.51 in the above—referenced applications to state that the satellites are geostationary.
