SES-MFS-20080926-01243 (Call Sign E950288), SES-MFS-20080926-01244 (Call Sign E970394), SES-MFS-20080926-01245 (Call Sign E980178) Dear Mr. Kotler: EchoStar Corporation filed the above referenced applications on September 26, 2008, requesting modification of three of its transmit/receive earth stations to add several points of communication. One of the satellites identified in the applications is the EchoStar 8 satellite operating at the 77° W.L. orbital location under Mexican authority. Although that satellite is operating under Special Temporary Authority granted by the Commission, it has not yet been transferred to Mexican authority. 1 Therefore, EchoStar respectfully requests that its request to operate the three above referenced earth stations with EchoStar 8 as a Mexican-licensed satellite be removed from the above referenced applications.
