(formerly Telenor Satellite, Inc. and Vizada Satellite, Inc.) seeks authorization for operation of up to 300 remote Earth Station on Vessels (ESV) antennas to provide C−Band ESV service through its Soutbury, CT teleport, call sign WB36. Authorization is requested for the remote ESVs, utilizing Seatel Model 9797 or 9707 Compliance Statement 10

43. Description. (Summarize the nature of the application and the services to be provided). By this Application, Vizada, Inc. (formerly Telenor Satellite, Inc. and Vizada Satellite, Inc.) seeks authorization for operation of up to 300 remote Earth Station on Vessels (ESV) antennas to provide C&#8722;Band ESV service through its Soutbury, CT teleport, call sign WB36. Authorization is requested for the remote ESVs, utilizing Seatel Model 9797 or 9707 antennas, 2.4 meters in diameter, to communicate via the NSS−7 satellite at 338.0 degrees E.L. and via All Authorized U.S. Domestic (ALSAT) Satellites on the Space Station Permitted List. The ESVs will be located on vessels traveling in U.S. and international waters and will operate in the standard C−band through a hub antenna at Southbury which has already been authorized by the Commission to communicate to ALSAT Satellites. Operation of the ESVs will be in full compliance with Part 25 of the Commission’s Rules and any operation within 200 Km of the U.S. coastline or Fixed Service offshore facilities will only be in areas for which prior coordination has been completed. This Application also requests that certain information and authorities missing from the current WB36 license be added to same. 28
