Listed in Exhibit A Dear Ms. Dortch: Inmarsat submits this letter regarding Inmarsat plc’s 10 percent or greater shareholders and its officers and directors with respect to the applications referenced in Exhibit A seeking earth station licenses to communicate with the Inmarsat system. Because Inmarsat plc is publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange, shareholdings in Inmarsat plc fluctuate from time-to-time. Inmarsat plc has been informed that the following are currently its 10% or greater shareholders: Harbinger Capital Partners Master Fund I, Ltd., a Cayman Islands company, and Harbinger Capital Partners Special Situations Fund, L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, in the aggregate, hold approximately 27% of the voting shares of Inmatsat plc. Entities owned or managed by Harbert Management Corporation (“HMC”), an Alabama corporation, hold the voting power represented by those shares. HMC’s address is One Riverchase Parkway, South Birmingham, AL 35244. e Funds advised by Lansdowne Partners Limited (“Lansdowne”), a company formed under the laws of England and Wales, in the aggregate, hold approximately 11% of the voting shares of Inmarsat plc. Lansdowne holds the voting power represented by those shares. Lansdowne’s address is 15 Davies Street, London, W1K 3AG, United Kingdom.
