Page 1of 1 FAA Notification Not Required Per PART 17[17.7(e)(1)] of the FCC rules, FAA notification is not required for this earth station for the following reason. The 9.0 meter earth station is located 45 feet/13.7 meters from the tower registered for ASR number 1294494. The tower is at latitude 29-36-43.4 N and longitude 098 29 47.2 W. The tower height is 47.2 meters above ground level. This meets the following criteria. (e) A notification to the FAA is not required for any of the following construction or alteration: (1) Any object that will be shielded by existing structures of a permanent and substantial nature or by natural terrain or topographic features of equal or greater height, and will be located in the congested area of a city, town, or settlement where the shielded structure will not adversely affect safety in air navigation;
