July 5, 2012 Systems Analyst Branch Satellite Division, International Bureau Federal Communications Commission 445 12th Street SW Washington, DC 20554 Re: Application for New Fixed Earth Station License Pursuant to Section 25.115 of the Rules and Regulations (“Regulations”) of the Federal Communications Commission (“Commission”), Harris Corporation (“Harris”), by way of the underlying application, seeks Commission authority to install a new Prodelin 2.4m Ku-Band. Pursuant to Section 25.212(c) of the Regulations, in the 14.0–14.5 GHz band, an earth station with an antenna of 1.2m or greater may be routinely licensed for transmission of narrowband and/or wideband digital services if the spectral power density into the antenna does not exceed –14 dBW/4KHz. This antenna will operate below this threshold. Therefore, Harris requests that this application receive routine treatment.
