October 1, 2010 System Analysis Branch Satellite Division International Bureau Federal Communications Commission 445 12th Street SW Washington, DC 20554 Re: Earth Stations on Vessels – Data Technology Solutions Pursuant to Section 25.115 of the Rules and Regulations (“Regulations”) of the Federal Communications Commission (“Commission”), Data Technology Solutions, LLC. (“DTS”) respectfully requests the issuance of a new Earth Stations on Vessels (“ESV”) license. On August 7, 2009, DTS filed an application for new ESV authority (File No. SES-LIC-20090807, callsign E090138). This application was subsequently dismissed by the Commission on September 15, 2010 (See DA 10-1747). The underlying application is identical to the dismissed application, with the exception of the maximum EIRP density per carrier figures listed in Schedule B as mentioned in DA 10-1747. In the underlying application, the maximum EIRP density per carrier for transmit emission designators 1M10G7W, 1M76G7W, and 4M41G7W has been corrected to 12.2, 10.5, and 10.2dBW/4KHz respectively.
