SES—LIC—20080306—00238 and —00239 Dear Ms. Dortch: Yesterday, the International Bureau released an order granting four pending earth station applications filed by DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC ("DIRECTV"). See DIRECTYV Enterprises, LLC, DA 08—1923 (rel. Aug. 20, 2008). In that order, the Bureau found that it would be appropriate to waive any requirement for coordination with fixed service licensees operating in the 28.35—28.6 GHz and 29.25—29.5 GHz bands for a proposed earth station that would be essentially collocated with an existing earth station already authorized to operate in those bands. I4., 12. This is to confirm that the two earth station applications identified above fall into this same category. Specifically, SES—LIC—20080306—00238 (call sign EO80056) will be essentially collocated with existing earth station EO60299, while SES—LIC—20080306— 00239 (call sign EO80057) will be essentially collocated with existing earth station E060298. Accordingly, for the reasons stated in yesterday‘s order, these pending applications are eligible for the waiver granted to DIRECTV‘s similarly situated earth stations.
