L~3 Communications Titan Corporation IBFS File No. SES—LIC—20070322—00396 Attachment August 26, 2008 On August 14, 2008, L—3 Communications Titan Corporation (L—3 Communications) requested that it application for authority to operate one mobile earth station terminal to provide Land Mobile Satellite Service in the continental United States using the 14.0— 14.5 GHz (Earth—to—space) and 11.7—12.2 GHz (space—to—Earth) frequency bands be designated "permit—but—disclose" for purposes of the Federal Communications Commission‘s (Commission‘s) rules governing ex parte communications. Letter to Marlene H. Dortch, Secretary, Federal Communications Commission, from Paul Moller, VP, Intellicom Technologies, Inc., Consultant to L—3 Communications, dated August 14, 2008. We find that designating this matter as "permit—but—disclose" will facilitate the resolution of complex policy issues raised in the application. We, therefore, designate the above captioned proceeding as "permit—but—disclose" effective August 26, 2008. See 47 C.E.R. §§ 1.1200(a), 1.1206, and 1.1208 note 2.
