Channel 2 Broadcasting Company is preparing its response including an amendment to its pending application and requires additional time to complete these efforts. Counsel for PanAmSat has been contacted with regard to this Motion and has consented to its filing. Accordingly, as the additional time requested will permit Channel 2 Broadcasting Company to develop the necessary record to address the issues raised by PanAmSat and facilitate processing by the FCC's staff, it is believed that grant of the instant request is in the public interest.
