By letter dated July 26, 2005, the International Bureau ("Bureau") requested that the Application be amended no later than August 10, 2005, to demonstrate compliance with certain requirements set forth in Section 25.222 of the Commission‘s Rules. The applicant, Schlumberger Technology Corporation ("STC"), hereby requests an extension of time until August 19, 2005, to submit the required amendment (the applicant no longer is Schlumberger Omnes, Inc. ("SOI") because, on December 31, 2004, upon grant of Commission authority, SOI was merged into STC, and SOI‘s earth station licenses and the Application were assigned from SOI to STC (File Nos. SES—ASG—20041116—01690 and SES—ASG—20041116— 01711)). The STC engineers responsible for preparing the amendment will be unavailable for several days and thus will not be able to complete the requested documentation in time to file the amendment by August 10, 2005. Good cause exists for grant of this extension. No other parties will be affected by the grant. The extension will provide STC the time needed to prepare and submit the requested amendment.
