Washington, DC 20554 Re: L—3 Communications, Interstate Electronics Corporation Application for Earth Station Authority File No.: SES—LIC—20020611—00939; Call Sign: E020160 Dear Ms. Dortch: Submitted herewith, on behalf of L—3 Communications, Interstate Electronics Corporation ("IEC"), proposed applicant for the above—referenced Ku—Band VSAT network, is a supplement to the above—referenced pending application. IEC requested a limited waiver of Section 25.222(a)(7) of the Commission‘s rules on August 10, 2005, to develop new software to comply with Section 25.222(a)(7). IEC supplemented its request on March 15, 2006, to establish the date of August 31, 2006, as the date by which installation of the automatic muting capability would be complete. IEC hereby notifies the Commission that the development and installation of the new software is complete and IEC complies with Section 25.222(a)(7) so no further waiver is required.
