Call Sign E010332 FCC File number SESLIC2001113002259 Dear Secretary Dortch: I refer to my letter of January 27, 2004 in which Telesat expressed its opposition to the earth station application of Maritime Telecommunications Network, Inc. (“MTN”). Subsequently, on February 23, 2004, MTN, through counsel, filed with the FCC a revised technical annex that supersedes and replaces the one originally provided to Telesat. Telesat has reviewed the revised technical annex and determined that the proposed MTN earth station operation would be consistent with our coordination agreement with Satmex. Accordingly, Telesat withdraws its opposition to MTN’s earth station application, provided that the earth station operates within the technical parameters appended to MTN’s February 23, 2004 letter.
