Marti, Emily Willeford, Deputy ChiefofStafFand Advisor to Chairman Martin and Fred Campbell Legal Advisor to the Chairman. Inmarsat presented an overview ofthe company, ts current satelite constelltion, and ts recent Inmarsatsatelite,which will beready to provide service over North America in the next few months. Inthe context of this discussion, Mr. Sukawaty explained the benefitsthat nmarsat‘s new Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) service would have for users in the United States,and urged that the pending applications for authorty to provide BGAN service be approved expeditiously.
