FCC Form 312 Exhibit F Public Interest Statement The instant application is one of multiple Form 312 applications (the “Applications”) being filed concurrently pursuant to an Asset Purchase Agreement between Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (“Nexstar”), Scripps Media, Inc., and Scripps Broadcasting Holdings LLC (collectively, “Scripps”), dated March 20, 2019. The Applications are part of a divestiture in connection with the pending transaction in which Nexstar will acquire control of the FCC license subsidiaries of Tribune Media Company (“Tribune”). Tribune is the parent of the licensee entities (the “Licensees”) listed on Attachment A that hold satellite earth station licenses (the “Stations”). The Stations are used in connection with the associated television stations for the reception and transmission of programming. FCC 314 applications for assignment of the associated broadcast television stations from the Licensees to Scripps have been filed with the Media Bureau. Grant of the instant application will serve the public interest by allowing the continued use of the Stations for the gathering and provision of news and information, and coverage of local community events.
