Washington, DC 20554 Re: Request for Extension of Closing Deadline, DBSD Services Limited, SAT-ASG- 20161207-00127, SES-ASG-20161206-00931 Dear Ms. Dortch: Pursuant to Sections 1.3 and 1.46 of the Commission’s rules,1 DISH Network Corporation (“DISH”), DBSD Services Limited (“DBSD Services”), and DBSD Corporation (“DBSD”) hereby request an additional 60 days to consummate the assignments in the above- referenced proceedings that the Commission approved on December 7, 2016 and December 14, 2016.2 There is good cause for the requested extension. DISH and its subsidiaries, including DBSD, have been working diligently to complete the pro forma reorganization described in the applications. But DISH and its subsidiaries need additional time to complete the multi-tiered reorganization. The extension will permit achievement of the efficiencies and other public benefits described in the above-captioned applications. It will also avoid the expense and burden on the Commission that would result from having to file new, identical pro forma applications.
