FCC Form 312 Schedule A, Question A21, Exhibit F May 15, 2014 Page 1 of 1 Exhibit F Public Interest Statement Pursuant to an Asset Purchase Agreement, dated as of May 13, 2014 (the “Agreement”), by and between London Broadcasting Company, Inc. (“LBC”), certain of LBC’s subsidiaries identified as “Sellers” in the Agreement, KMOV-TV, Inc. (“KMOV” or “Assignee”), KTVK, Inc., and Gannett Co., Inc. (“Gannett”), the parties to the Agreement have agreed to assign certain television stations indirectly owned by LBC to KMOV, an indirect subsidiary of Gannett. Three of the television stations whose licenses are subject to concurrently-filed FCC Form 314 applications use certain earth station authorizations in connection with their operations: KBMT, Beaumont, TX; KIII, Corpus Christie, TX; and KYTX, Nacogdoches, TX. The instant and related FCC Form 312 filings seek authorization to assign these earth station authorizations from the applicable Sellers to Assignee.1 The authorizations are used in connection with the operations of these television stations, and no change in the operation or use of the earth stations will occur as a result of the grant of this proposed assignment of licenses to Assignee. Accordingly, the public interest would be served by prompt consent to this application. 1 KBMT License Company, LLC, the licensee of KBMT, also holds the authorization for receive-only earth station E070285. KIII License Company, LLC, the licensee of KIII, also holds the authorization for receive-only earth station E050060. KYTX License Company, LLC, the licensee of KYTX, also holds the authorizations for receive-only earth station E040037 and for transmit-receive earth station E060155.
