WHP Licensee, LLC FCC Form 312 July 2012 DESCRIPTION OF TRANSACTION The instant application is one of several concurrently filed applications seeking Commission consent to the assignment of the licenses of five full power commercial television stations, including WHP-TV, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, FAC ID 72313, two low power television stations, and related auxiliary and other facilities, from Newport Television License LLC (“Newport”), to three entities ultimately controlled by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (“SBG”). This application seeks Commission consent to the assignment of transmit only earth station, E120032 (the “Station”), from Newport Television License LLC to WHP Licensee, LLC. The Station will be used in connection with the operations of WHP-TV, which serves the viewing population of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
