WKRC Licensee, LLC FCC Form 603 July 2012 DESCRIPTION OF TRANSACTION The instant application is one of several concurrently filed applications seeking Commission consent to the assignment of the licenses of five full power commercial television stations, including WKRC-TV, Cincinnati, Ohio, FAC ID 11289, two low power television stations, and related auxiliary and other facilities, from Newport Television License LLC (“Newport”), to three entities ultimately controlled by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (“SBG”). This application seeks Commission consent to the assignment of transmit only earth station license, E980346 (the “Station”), from Newport Television License LLC to WKRC Licensee, LLC. The Station will be used in connection with the operations of WKRC-TV, which serves the viewing population of Cincinnati, Ohio.
