Exhibit A Ridgetop Road LLC FCC Form 312, Schedule A, Item A-21 Public Interest Statement Page 1 of 1 Exhibit A Public Interest Statement By the instant application, Thornburg Mortgage Advisory Corporation (“Assignor”) proposes to assign to Ridgetop Road LLC (“Assignee”) the fixed satellite service earth station license issued to Assignor under the FCC Call Sign E090035. The proposed assignment arises in connection with the relocation of the station to the new physical facilities of Assignee and the winding up of operations of Assignor as a result of cessation of business of the sole entity to which Assignor provided management services. Timely Commission approval of the assignment is essential to permit continued operation of the station and continuity in the ongoing business and affairs of Assignee, and will aid the timely winding up of Assignor’s business operations. For these reasons, the assignment proposed in the instant application will well serve the public interest, convenience and necessity. Accordingly, Assignor and Assignee respectfully request an expeditious grant of this assignment application.
