("Freedom"") hereby files this letter pursuant to Section 1.65 of the Rules of the Federal Communications Commussion (the "Commission")‘ to update and amend the above—referenced application (the "Application") which requests consent to the pro forma assignment of the Commission authorizations for satellite earth station facility E990539. On September 2, 2009 an application was filed with the Commission (SES—RWL— 20090915—01179) for the renewal of the Commuission authorization for facility E990539. That renewal application was filed, and on September 17, 2009 was granted, in the name of Freedom Broadcasting of Florida Licensee, L.L.C. On September 1, 2009, a petition in Chapter 11 bankruptcy was filed by Freedom in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, and on September 2, 2009 that Court issued an order directing the joint administration of all Chapter 11 cases involving Freedom and its affiliated entities. As a result of those proceedings, Freedom‘s status became that of debtor—in— possession. The Application requests Commission consent to the assignment of the authorizations for facility E990539 from Freedom Broadcasting of Florida Licensee, L.L.C. to Freedom Broadcasting of Florida Licensee, L.L.C., Debtor—in—Possession. \ 47 CFR. § 1.65.
