Dear Mr. Welch:

        On January 8, 2007, Cosmos Broadcasting Corporation (Cosmos) filed the above—
captioned application for assignment of the receive—only earth station, call sign E850282, located
in Jonesboro, AR. The license for this earth station, however, expired on December 6, 1995.‘
Thus, there is no license to assign.

        Accordingly, pursuant to Section 25.112(a)(1) of the Commission‘s rules, 47 C.F.R.
§25.112(a)(1), and Section 0.261 of the Commission‘s rules on delegations of authority, 47
C.E.R. §0.261, we dismiss the above—captioned assignment application as moot.
