As stated i the Application,the Assignment is elated to a proposed merger of certain broadcastradio subsidiaries ‘The Walt Disney Company ("TWDC®) and Citadel Broadcasting Corporation (‘Merger Transaction" The Federal Communications Commission (‘FCC") consented to the Assignment on April 18, 2006. )n June 6, 2006, ABC Detroi requested a sixty—day extension, untl August 15, 2006, to consummate the [Assignment because other applications (*Other Applications") related to the Merger Transsction wf ending befor the FCC, see, eg., BIC—20060228ABG. Because the Other Applications stll remain #, an extension of time to consummate the Assignment is necessary.
