    WITHDRAWAL OF PETITION TO DENY OF IRIDIUM CONSTELLATION LLC

       On May 26, 2017, Iridium Constellation LLC (“Iridium”), pursuant to Section

25.154 of the Commission’s rules,1 requested that the Commission deny the portion of

the above-referenced application (the “Application”), filed by Thales Avionics, Inc.

(“Thales”), in which Thales requested a blanket license to operate earth stations aboard

aircraft in the 29.25-29.3 GHz band.2 Iridium uses that band for its feeder links.

          On June 5, 2017, Thales filed a reply in which, in response to Iridium’s objections,

Thales agreed to remove the 50 MHz portion of its Application covering the frequencies

between 29.25 GHz and 29.3 GHz.3 Iridium hereby withdraws its Petition to Deny,

conditioned on grant of Thales’ request to remove the 29.25-29.3 GHz band from its

Application.
