                                       Narrative for Amendment Application

Pursuant to Section 25.116 of the Federal Communications Commission’s Rules (“FCC”),1 HNS
License Sub, LLC (“Hughes”) files this application to amend IBFS File No. SES-LIC-20150604-00341
(filed on May 28, 2015). This amendment provides revised location data for the Earth station antenna due
to a clerical error in the original application.
The revised location information is provided on the attached Form 312, Schedule B. In the Form
312 and the accompanying Schedule B, Hughes has only provided information that is required to
complete the form and/or information that has changed as a consequence of the new planned location of
the site. All other data provided in IBFS File No. SES-LIC-20150604-00341 remains unchanged.
Frequency Coordination
On July 22, 2015, Hughes ordered a new frequency coordination report from Comsearch, which
is expected to be completed around August 21, 2015. When frequency coordination is completed,
Hughes will supplement this amendment application.
Notice to the Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”) under Part 17 of the FCC’s rules
Notification to the FAA is not required for this proposed Earth station under Part 17 of the FCC’s
rules.2 The site is not more than 200 feet above ground level, the site passes the slope criteria, and the site
is not in an instrument approach area.3 A copy of the FCC’s TOWAIR report is provided with this
amendment.
