SES-MOD-20140717-00604 and SES-AMD-20140725-00620; Clarification Letter Pursuant to Section 1.65 of the FCC’s Rules Dear Ms. Dortch: DG Consents Sub, Inc. (“DG Consents”), pursuant to Section 1.65 of the FCC’s Rules, 47 C.F.R. § 1.65, hereby responds to the request from Paul Blais and Hsing Liu of the FCC’s International Bureau to clarify the call signs of, and the specific frequencies to be used to communicate with, each of the Points of Communication specified in the above-referenced modification application, as amended. The pending modification application seeks to add the QuickBird-1, GeoEye-1, GeoEye-2, IKONOS and WorldView-3 space stations as Points of Communication authorized under the Rock Springs, Wyoming earth station license issued to DG Consents (Call Sign E120040). The Wyoming earth station is currently authorized to communicate with the WorldView-1 and WorldView-2 space stations. As an initial matter, DG Consents no longer seeks to add QuickBird-1 as a Point of Communication. QuickBird-1 reached the end of its service life last month and has since been de-orbited. DG Consents hereby updates the pending modification application to withdraw QuickBird-1 as a requested Point of Communication.
