SES-MFS-20110707-00793, SES-AMD-20110809-00937, Call Sign E050196 Dear Ms. Dortch: DISH Operating L.L.C. and EchoStar 77 Corporation hereby submit the following information regarding the registration of the QuetzSat-1 satellite in response to questions by staff of the International Bureau. After its launch, currently scheduled for September 29, 2011, QuetzSat-1 will be registered with the United Nations (“UN”) by the United Kingdom Space Agency in accordance with the UN Convention on the Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space. QuetzSat-1 will then continue as a United Kingdom space object throughout its operational life. Therefore, the underlying liability for QuetzSat-1 will also remain with the United Kingdom in accordance with UN resolutions on space liability.
