Request for Extension of Time to File Amendment to Application

       Dear Ms. Dortch:

In the above—captioned application, TerreStar Networks Inc. ("TerreStar") is
seeking authority to operate mobile earth terminals ("METs") in the 2 GHz band that
will communicate with Terrestar—1. In a letter dated January 29, 2007, the International
Bureau ("Bureau") requested that TerreStar provide additional information concerning
the above—captioned application.‘ Pursuant to Section 1.46 of the Commission‘s rules,"
TerreStar, by its attorneys, hereby requests a nine—day extension of time, through and
including March 9, 2007, of the 30—day deadline for providing the requested
       information.

Among other things, the Bureau requested in its letter that TerreStar provide a
Schedule S for Terrestar—1. TerreStar is discovering, however, that Schedule S was not
designed with a satellite such as TerreStar—1 in mind, and is running into multiple issues
that are preventing it from completing Schedule S within the time frame the Bureau has
established for responding. Accordingly, TerreStar is seeking an extension of the filing
       deadline.

‘ Letter from Scott A. Kotler, Chief, Systems Analysis Branch, to Joseph A. Godies, counsel for TerreStar.

       247 C.F.R. § 1.46.

TerreStar‘s extension request is supported by good cause. Grant of the request
will give TerreStar the time it needs to complete preparation of the Schedule, and will
enable TerreStar to provide at the same time all of the information that the Bureau has
requested.

Please direct any questions concerning this extension request to the undersigned.
