Inmarsatexplained the benefits that Inmarsat‘s new Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) service would have for users n the United Suates, and urged that the pending applications for authority to provide BGAN service be approved expeditiously. Inmarsat also discussed ts operational experience with the 14 satelite for is existing services since service commenced on this satellte in January 2006 Inmarsatalso described recent demos of ts BGAN service that had been done for 1U.S. Govemment users pursuantto ts experimental Hcense.
