SAT—T/C—20080521—00108 and —00109, SES—T/C—20080521—00670 through —00675 Dear Ms. Dortch: On June 24, 2008, the International Bureau authorized a pro forma transfer of control over the space and earth station licenses held by DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC ("DIRECTV") and related companies in connection with a share repurchase process that will take Liberty Media Corporation ("Liberty Media") from a position of de facto control of DIRECTV to one of de jure control.! Under Section 25.119(f) of the Commission‘s rules, Liberty Media is required to consummate this pro forme transfer within sixty (60) days of the grant, or August 23, 2008: Although the share repurchases have begun and are continuing, it appears that sufficient shares will not have been repurchased to place Liberty Media in a position of de jure control of DIRECTV until after that date. Accordingly, Liberty Media hereby requests an additional sixty (60) days, until October 22, 2008, in which to consummate the authorized pro forma transfer of control. © See Public Notice, Rep.
