DBS 87—01, 94—SAT—AL—96, 94—SAT—TC—96, 49—SAT—TC—95, 130—SAT—EXT—95, SAT—MOD—20020408—00062, SAT—MOD—2003110—00009 Dear Mr. Abelson: Rainbow DBS Company LLC ("Rainbow DBS") is pleased to report to the International Bureau that Rainbow DBS and its spacecraft manufacturer have timely and successfully completed all milestones related to the construction and launch of the Rainbow DBS Direct Broadcast Satellite Service ("DBS") satellite that were required to be completed by August 31, 2003 in accordance with the Commission‘s Memorandum Opinion and Order, 16 FCC Red 9 (2000), as modified by the Bureau in April 2003." Specifically, the Rainbow 1 DBS satellite was successfully launched into orbit on July 17, 2003. Should you have any questions regarding the foregoing report, please communicate with the undersigned. _ On April 22, 2003, the Bureau released an Order authorizing the launch of Rainbow 1 and extending the shipment, final testing and launch milestones for Rainbow 1 to August 31, 2003.
