DG Consents Sub, Inc. Request for 60-day STA Extension Narrative Attachment DG Consents Sub, Inc. (“DigitalGlobe”) requests an additional 60 days, beginning June 22, 2019, of special temporary authority (“STA”) previously granted for DigitalGlobe to relocate and operate WorldView-4, authorized under Call Sign S2348, at orbital altitudes between 450 and 550 km.1 DigitalGlobe intends to file an application to modify its WorldView-4 license for permanent authority to operate at 450-550 km within this renewal period. Pursuant to Section 1.62 of the Commission’s rules, DigitalGlobe will continue to operate under the terms and conditions of its existing STA pending action on this timely filed renewal request.2 Grant of this STA extension request will serve the public interest by allowing DigitalGlobe to complete relocation of WorldView-4 to 450-550 km and, upon arrival, use the satellite for training purposes.
