       STA-20120511-00083

Dear Ms. Dortch:

Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat") herein provides an update to the
Commission concerning the above referenced authorization and
pending application related to the previously planned drift of
Intelsat 706 from 72.0° E.L. to 177.9° E.L. Specifically, Intelsat
hereby informs the Commission that due to changes in the
Company’s deployment plan, Intelsat 706 did not begin its drift
