Washington, DC 20554 Re: IBFS File No. SAT-STA-20120508-00080 Dear Ms. Dortch: On May 8 2012, DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC (“DIRECTV”) filed the above referenced request for Special Temporary Authority to continue to stationkeep the DIRECTV 1R satellite at the 109.8° W.L. orbital position until such time as the spacecraft could be de-orbited. In the interim, DIRECTV’s plans for the satellite have changed, and it now has an opportunity to put the spacecraft to productive use for the remainder of its operational lifetime.
