8. Description SES Americom, Inc. ('SES') respectfully requests a 60-day extension of the special temporary authority granted in File Nos. SAT-STA-20110929-00191 and SAT-STA-20111223-00251 to permit SES to maintain the AMC-5 space station, call sign S2156, at 80.90 deg. W.L. and operate the satellite in the conventional Ku-band. Extension is sought pending action on the underlying modification application, File No. SAT-MOD-20110929-00192. SES incorporates by reference the supporting documentation provided in File Nos. SAT-STA-20110929-00191, SAT-STA-20111223-00251 and SAT-MOD-20110929-00192.
9. By checking Yes, the undersigned certifies that neither applicant nor any other party to the application is subject to a denial of Federal benefits that includes FCC benefits pursuant to Section 5301 of the Anti-Drug Act of 1988, 21 U.S.C. Section 862, because of a conviction for possession or distribution of a controlled substance. See 47 CFR 1.2002(b) for the meaning of "party to the application" for these purposes. Yes No
