Re: Request for Extension of Special Temporary Authority for
Galaxy 26, Call Sign S2469, File No. SAT-STA-20111219-00241

Dear Mr. Nelson:

Intelsat License LLC (“Intelsat”) submits this letter in response to your
request received today for an update on the status of coordination
discussions between Intelsat and Al Yah Satellite Communications
Company PrJSC (“Yahsat”). Recently, including over the holidays,
Intelsat has been in almost daily discussions with Yahsat regarding a
coordination agreement for the continued operation of Galaxy 26 at 50.0°
E.L. Although no coordination agreement has been reached, Intelsat and
Yahsat have signed an NDA that will allow for further exchanges of
information. Intelsat is hopeful that an agreement can be reached shortly.

Sincerely,

/s/ Kalpak Gude
