8. Description XM Radio LLC ('XM Radio') requests a 30-day extension of the authority granted in File No. SAT-STA-20110919-00184 to activate the XM-5 communications payload in order to conduct performance testing. XM Radio incorporates by reference the narrative filed in SAT-STA-20110919-00184.

By checking Yes, the undersigned certifies that neither applicant nor any other party to the application is subject to a denial of Federal benefits that includes FCC benefits pursuant to Section 5301 of the Anti-Drug Act of 1988, 21 U.S.C.
