Dear Ms. Dortch:

Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat"), pursuant to Section 25.121(d) of the
Commission‘s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 25.121(d), hereby notifies the Commission
that the Intelsat 18 satellite (call sign $2817) was successfully placed into orbit
at 180.0° E.L. and became fully operational at that location as of November 7,
2011, in accordance with the terms of its FCC authorization.‘

In addition, Intelsat seeks a determination from the Commission that the last
milestone for the Intelsat 18 satellite, requiring launch and operation of the
satellite, has been satisfied.
