       As required by Condition 7 of the above-referenced authorization,1 EchoStar Satellite Operating
Corporation (“EchoStar”) hereby notifies the Commission that the EchoStar 4 satellite end-of-life
maneuvers were completed successfully on July 27, 2011, and the satellite was maneuvered to a disposal
orbit with an approximate apogee of 42,576 km (~ 412 km above geosynchronous orbit) and an
approximate perigee of 42,503 km (~339 km above geosynchronous orbit).
