8. Description SES Americom, Inc. respectfully requests a further 30-day extension of its special temporary authority to operate the AMC-9 fixed-satellite space station with a 0.4 degree change in the north/south orientation of the C-band reflector, FCC File Nos. SAT-STA-20110301-00043 and SAT-STA-20110408-00069. Extension is requested for continued evaluation of AMC-9's C-band coverage of the Southern United States, Mexico and Central America. No change in the orbital location of the satellite or the orientation of the Ku-band antenna is proposed.

9. By checking Yes, the undersigned certifies that neither applicant nor any other party to the application is subject to a denial of Federal benefits that includes FCC benefits pursuant to Section 5301 of the Anti-Drug Act of 1988, 21 U.S.C.
